Event notes & disclaimers

Admission, food, charity, and safety notes for guests. Not a substitute for posted rules on the grounds.

Schedule and details

Dates, hours, booths, menus, entertainment, and parking can change for weather, supply, or safety. Check this site or the parish office close to the weekend.

Admission

General admission is $5 for adults at the gate. Kids under 12 are free. Pre-sale tickets ($20 food value plus free admission) are sold through Wednesday, October 7 via BakersfieldGreekFoodFestival.org. Food, drinks, pastries, and Sports Taverna purchases beyond a pre-sale food-value ticket are separate. Gate sales follow posted festival rules that day.

Charity

A portion of festival proceeds supports the Bakersfield SPCA in 2026. Admission is a festival entry fee, not a tax-deductible charitable contribution, unless the parish office tells you otherwise in writing for a specific gift.

Food and allergens

Food is prepared by volunteers in shared festival kitchens. Items may contain or contact nuts, dairy, wheat/gluten, eggs, soy, sesame, and other allergens. Ask at the booth if you have a dietary need. Photos are from past festivals and may not match this year’s plating.

Alcohol

Sports Taverna bar service is for guests 21 and older with valid ID. No outside alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse service.

Health and safety

Much of the festival is outdoors. A first-aid kit is at the entrance booth. No pets — service dogs only. This site does not give medical advice.

Photos

The parish may photograph the public festival for next year’s publicity and community news. If you do not want your photo used, please tell the parish office.

Accessibility

We want guests of all abilities to enjoy the weekend. For questions about parking, restrooms, or access, call the parish office before you come so we can share current information.
